His father is one of the founders in the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Association back in the 70s. Even though he grew up in a strong family background of Chinese Medicine, his parents didn’t force him to choose his career. Crsitina’s story of Chinese Medicine:
As a child, I grew up in a house with full access to medical books, with various family members being doctors of different specialisations from General practitioners, surgeon, gynaecologist, and paediatricians, and thus there has always been an intense interest and curiosity in the human body, its ailments, and its innate healing strength. With a general background in western medicine, I sought out a different style of health care approach with a more wholistic nature and I have found this in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) where its values and beliefs has allowed me to approach Human disease with a broader knowledge and understanding of the physical, mental, and emotional link to health of everyone.
I believe the best treatment outcomes happen when we deeply understand our patients’ needs and lives. Excellent service is delivered with the solid belief of investing the time to get to know our patients and building a collaborative team to support a holistic health service.
